Cloversong grew up with his rich parents in Canterlot (his father a unicorn, and his mother an earth pony). He found his talent when he and his twin sister played music together, and they started a Irish Punk band. He was eventually kicked out for being constantly unprofessional and drunk. He met his best friend Ink Splash in high school. When he's not travelling around, playing music, drinking and having fun with mares, he crashes at Ink Splash's house in Ponyville.

His wholly unrealistic dream is to be an alicorn/princess.
